Time magazine’s best and worst covers
Time magazine is celebrating its 85th anniversary by looking back at its best and worst covers. An interactive feature allows you to rate your favourites, but unfortunately there isn’t any commentary from the editorial and design team about why the covers were chosen. Have a look to see the various ways they have visualised stories over the years. Link >
Some of the choices are interesting, but what also struck me was the small amount of women that have made it to the cover. Out of the 81 covers in their annual Man/Person/Woman of the Year issue, just 4 are women. A reflection of the editorial team or the world in which we live?
