Earth Hour


On March 29 at 8pm people around the world will be turning off their lights in support of Earth Hour, a campaign to raise awareness about global warming. The event began in Sydney last year as a joint venture between the World Wildlife Foundation, Fairfax Media and Leo Burnett the advertising agency.

Last year 2.2 million people and 2100 Sydney businesses turned off their lights and the publicity generated went global. Watch the video below and see for yourself how a simple campaign can create a massive amount of awareness. Go to Earth Hour to pledge your support for this year.
