COLORS notebook started out as a blank issue of COLORS magazine. They invited their readers to write, illustrate and design their own COLORS magazine. They wanted to create a project where “you are free to tell stories that nobody ever wanted to listen to and put your own message out to the world through words, illustrations and photos”.
The project is a collaboration with Reporters sans Frontières, an association which fights to protect freedom of speech for all and defends journalists all over the world.
There have been exhibitions of the submitted COLORS notebooks in places like the Pompidou Centre in Paris. If you’d like to make your own, write to: firstname.lastname@example.org
